John Francis Pastorius III aka Jaco
December 1, 1951 - September 21, 1987
I, Ingrid, married Jaco in July of 1979. We had our ceremony of commitment
on top of temple 3 in Tikal, Guatemala, amongst the ancient vibrations,
the raw jungle, as well as the fluttering of hummingbirds overhead.
Our twin sons, Julius and Felix were born in 1982. Jaco and I
legally broke up in 1985, though emotionally, and spiritually
I remained attached to him, his music, and now his soul.

This site was initially a project Felix and Julius had started, while in the
process of learning the web-making format. Their teacher Al Lucas has
given unconditional time, support, and effort to this project, and is
responsible for us maintaining this very large functioning site.
Due to encouragement by him, his accomplished bass playing son,
Adam Lucas who now plays guitar in a band with Julius and Felix,
friend and Jaco promoter Tom Stroud, as well as our ever
supportive friends and family, this site is an expression
of eternal love for Jaco. Of course there are many
more deserving Thanks, and I honor you All.
When in December of 2000, the twins, together with John and Mary,
launched the site at www.JacoPastorius.com, rather then closing
down this loving family project, Julius and Felix decided to give it to me.
So, I learned, and am still learning HTML and have made it what it is today.

One of Jaco's many attributes was his genuine love and interest for all people.
Therefore, IN HIS NAME and SPIRIT, I desire this site to be a stepping stone and
CYBERNEST for Family, Friends, and You. There are approximately 300 pages,
over 1100 photos on this site, some are 'hidden' as in treasures, and much
more will be added along the way. So take your time, and enjoy!
